KUMBALU was formed in 2005 in Brno/CZ as an alternative band. During recent years it has settled in a genre framed by lively fusion of reggae, balkan and rock.

The band has recorded three albums, the last of which – GHOST DUB – was mixed by jamaican studio Natural High Music and released in autumn 2023. Though the band plays mostly at local venues, it has performed abroad as well (Slovakia, Poland, Hungary).

KUMBALU consists of five musicians playing variety of instruments: drums, bass, saxophones, keys, electric guitar and electric vioilin.
